Trip Report
Warren Farm Caravan Site
Brean
20th-24th May 2010
We arrived at the site and booked in around 10.45am to a cheerful reception at the main reception only to be told the field we need is another half a mile down the road and book in on Sunnyside reception.

So a quick(ish) U turn and down we went and booked in there where we found the staff very friendly and helpful.
We were told which field as we had a dog but pitch where you like.

Pitching was easy as we had plenty of room pitches were the largest I have seen for a long while.
So down to see what the shower/toilet block was like as we had a long journey and was in need.

I was very impressed of the size and standard of the amenities they are on par with Caravan Club site shower blocks I was a bit concerned that you have to pay 50p for a shower but when I looked into it that was for 10 minutes of pure hot water and the shower cubicle were large enough to take adult and teenager.

So back to the setting up of the van pitch was reasonably level for a grass pitch and water was not far from any pitches.
Once everything was hooked up and working time to relax with a cup of tea.
The Site
Is well organized and there were plenty of wardens around keeping the site spick and span.
They have many fields which cater for static seasonal and tourers including tents, they also have over 70 acre of land to the rear which I assume is waiting for development.

6 Touring, 3 Seasonal and 2 static sites (information source their own site paper)
For all the dog lovers they have a few dog walking fields large enough to let your dog off for a good run around without annoying anyone.

Plenty of play area and climbing frames etc for children which is in direct sight of the pitches so keeping an eye on them

On site they have the Beachcomber where regular entertainment takes place a word of warning is at high season it could become full very quickly and you will need to secure your seats early if you want to see the show, and supermarket and takeaways also a pet’s corner.
The Beachcomber is a 5 minute walk from Sunnyside but if you’re not feeling energetic there is a pub on the corner which serves excellent food and cold beer.
The surrounding area
About a mile away there is a leisure centre with rides and regular markets and car boot behind.
Horse riding on the vast beach

Further afield Weston super-mare which is under development on the seafront and the new pier is due to be opened soon, the Weston eye which is 40 feet high giving a good view.
There are many attractions with a short drive to suit every taste.
the sunset from Brean beach is not to be missed

All in all I HIGHLY recommend this site
