Hi guys and girls

Just a quick not to tell you about our 3 day trip to Rockley Park Poole to celebrate our Katherines 18th Birthday
and to report on the gr8 site improvements done during the past winter shut down.
they have moved the touring park from one end furthest away to just at the entrance Gr8
they have completely striped the area and relaid new roads, before placing the hard standing pitches.
as well as re turfing and landscaping the whole area.
There is a nice new toilet block and wash area for tourers only, its a type of wet room they are able to hose down
and keep clean as the floor is fitted with surface drains.
As its so close to the main complex there was a good level of security and a number of
Haven vans were evident during Friday and Saturday night.
We had a great time there it will get better as the site develops and the plants and trees mature.

some pic of us on the pitch

Looks good Dave icon_thumright

What type of surface is the awning on? It looks like grass at the rear but sort of artificial at the front 017

Hi ya Muzz

Its like plastic netting stops the cars and people from tearing up the turf
and will reduce the maintenance in the long run apparently  13
