We left home on Saturday February 13th 2010 at 08:30 and arrived at the Carvan Club's White Water Caravan Park, on Tees Barrage at 11:45.

The above photograph shows the reception.

The toilet block.

The above two photos are various views of the site.

The above two photos are of the train sculpture just outside Darlington, where we spent the Monday.
On the Sunday we went to Catterick market and came back enpty handed.

The above is the Headland at Hartlepool looking north.

The Headland looking south.
Thursday we went to Saltburn as the weather  looked a bit more promising.
Saltburn prom looking north.

Saltburn pier.

Toilet and shop facilities.

Yours truly on the pier.

Saltburn from the end of the pier.

Sunday Feb 21st back home safe and sound, the wife is already washing the van ready to put its cover back on.

All in all, it seemed like we had spent 8 days in near artic conditions, the electric blanket certainly paid for itself 10 times over on this trip.

Sure that was this year Terry, looks like you had more sun and blue skies than we've had in the past 3 months :(  Suppose you've topped your tan up for the summer ;D

Hi Pete,

You lot down south do not realise that there is a whole new world north of Watford, or in your case the Thames!

Plus the fact the sun always shines on the righteous.

Have you decided anything for Easter yet?

Hi Terry,

Just re-sent email that I sent last week, must have got lost in all your fan mail while you were away.
You can keep north of the thames, I'd rather be south of the Rio Ebro
