would any body now where i can get a instruction manual or anything that tells me about it due to it been fitted in my swift conqueror 550 salon thanks in advance for any reply,s or even a manual for the van itself Which may tell me about the system.

PMS7 is the modular system providing all the power protection and distribution requirements for the caravan.

The original alarm would have been an IDM 1C. The factory setting for this for the security code is 1-2-3-4

If an IDM 1C will not arm it could be that one of the sensors is active. If this is the case the alarm should emit one long pulse when trying to arm. The three sensors that might cause this are the tilt sensor and the battery box and gas locker sensors. The latter sensors are reed switches and can become unreliable with time. There is also a reed switch sensor on the entry door but this only activates after the entry/exit delay period.
