well that's our "summer holidays" done and dusted for this year

we had our first week in Aberystwyth the route was terrible as the sat nav likes narrow roads once i decided to not go motorway due to the music fest that weekend.
So we took our time and went cross country.
we stayed at brynowen holiday camp at borth(just outside Aberystwyth) its a park resort they mainly cater for static vans and the touring pitches were a joke.

room for 16 vans with just enough room to put a van and awning on and park your motor next to it the electric hook up kept blowing everytime we put the kettle on so i complained and complained and comp...you get the idea.
the electrician came to check it out and said Easter time they had so much trouble that they down rated it to 6 amps from 16 amps. but they gave us £20.00 worth
of food and beer vouchers as compensation.

the rest of the camp amenities were great entertainment on site was good what we saw of it but the beauty of Wales made up for everything.

all in all we had a real good time weather was kind to us

The second week was at trip to Witherensea

those of you who are Yorkshire persons(PC)  :D will recognise the landmark.

again this was a Park resort camp site

as you can see thesite was a lot larger but the size of the clubhouse was too small for the amount of people who can get on site, but this was a chill week to wind down even more so it wasnt a problem.

some of us wound down a little tooooooooooooooooo much

Bass, Cod, Plaice, Whiting, Flounder, Dabs, Thornback rays to name but a few.

Now if your asking what I normally catch ??? That would be plastic bags, crabs (v small) and a lot of nothing.

aber is great if you like the scenery the towns ok and plenty to do around we went on the narrow track train to devils bridge and if you do make sure you have walking boots on if you do the walk its a killer on the feet heart lungs body etc but the site is well worth it and you come out at a pub which is better  ;D

we have done tenby earlier in the year and we really enjoyed that infact there is cc site nearby which is excellant and quite right next to amassive park

all in all both are well worth the visit
